Yes folks. If you were like me and hoping that Harvey Dent was not in fact dead and would be coming back to allow us yet more time in the company of Aaron Eckhart for the next Batman, this will not be the case.

Aaron Eckhart has revealed that Dent is dead and there is nothing he can do about it. I imagine this will get those rumours surging once more as to who the next villain will be but I'm a little disappointed. Two-Face is a rich vein to be mined and this only confirms my fears that perhaps they wasted his storyline in The Dark Knight. But, I will trust in Nolan again and hope against hope that this isn't a bungle from the man.
