The best entertainment on NOW TV this May

Twin Peaks: The Return – Available from May 23

This May, Twin Peaks: The Return hits NOW TV and the 18-part series will broadcast at the same time as the US premiere.

Game of Thrones Season 1-6 – Available from May 1

Independence Day: Resurgence

A moon-based defence station isn’t enough to stop returning alien invaders from shattering 20 years of intergalactic peace, spaceships the size of oceans descending from the heavens and causing fresh headache for Goldblum’s grey-haired scientist David Levinson and troubled ex-president Whitmore (Bill Pullman).

Suicide Squad

The eccentric characters under her command include cold – blooded hitman/ concerned father Deadshot (Will Smith), hoody-wearing lizard man killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) and psychotic Barbie doll Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie). Jared Leto’s joker pops up now and again to make life complicated, but the real trouble begins when Cara Delevingne’s Enchantress goes rogue and decides to build a world-ending weapon.

Ice Age: Collision Course

ice age collision course 2016 movie embedThe Ice Age’s most unconventional herd return for another madcap adventure as an apocalyptic meteor threatens to wipe life out all life on Earth. Manny the mammoth (Ray Romano), Sid the sloth (John Leguizamo), Diego the Sabre-toothed tiger (Denis Leary) and the rest of the gang are recruited by Buck, Simon Pegg’s one-eyed weasel dinosaur hunter, to help send the flaming rock back from whence it came, but a family of revenge-seeking dromaeosaurs soon throw a spanner in the works.
