Poor

Red Joan review

Despite the compelling question it seeks to pose, Red Joan lacks the charm to draw the spectator in and have them partake in the main character's dilemma. Character drama and historical commentary that could have made the film richer than its premise ended up bogging it down in what feels like a collage of familiar, underdeveloped plots that never became more than a sum of parts.

I Am Soldier review (Blu-ray)

I Am Soldier has been released at the perfect time to coast on the coattails of the box-office hit Lone Survivor.

Cemetery Junction review (Blu-ray)

Another week and another coming of age tale, but this one is set in the UK of 1973 and is fresh, funny and charming.
