New F.E.A.R. 3 video: The Ides of March

By Nathan Hardisty

A new... thing for F.E.A.R. 3 (although I'm pretty sure it’s F.3.A.R) has been released. It’s an in-game cinematic featuring two brothers meeting up and reminiscing about the past. The brothers just so happen to be F.E.A.R.’s Fettel and Point Man, so at least one of them kinda enjoys cannibalism. The cinematic details the two being haunted by memories of betrayal and their family ties, which are said to haunt them throughout the game.

Check it out below and let us know what you think about the third instalment of the popular supernatural FPS.

SYNOPSIS: F.E.A.R. 3 is a heart-pounding paranormal first person shooter unleashing intense combat, compelling narrative and co-op play that evolves the franchise. Alma returns in F.E.A.R. 3 but this time her sons Point Man and Paxton Fettel are characters available to play in divergent co-op, giving players distinctly different abilities affecting their own play as well as the experience of their co-op partner. Gamers participate in single player or co-op modes as Point Man or as Paxton Fettel, his conniving brother whose incredible telekinetic power has given him life beyond the grave

F.E.A.R. 3 launches in May for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3

Stuart O'Connor is the Managing Editor of Screenjabber, the movie review website he co-founded with Neil Davey far too many years ago. He likes all genres, as long as the film is good (although he does enjoy the occasional bad "guilty pleasure"), and drinks way too much coffee.
